Thirteen-time GRAMMY® nominee and 2021 GRAMMY winner Ledisi comes to Chandler to bring to life the timeless music of Nina Simone with the critically-acclaimed musical that journeys into the lives of two soulful musicians. The powerhouse singer uses passion, storytelling, and the Nina Simone songbook to paint a picture of the musical bond between legendary artists across eras.

Making its original debut with two sold-out performances at The Kennedy Center with the National Symphony Orchestra, followed by a sold-out performance at the Apollo Theatre to a roaring standing ovation, Ledisi Sings Nina is a beautifully orchestrated mixture of classical, jazz and R&B sounds with a riveting narrative of the musical bond between an artist from one era influenced by a legend from the past. Ledisi honors one of her greatest musical inspirations and returns to her roots in jazz, performing re-imagined Nina Simone classics with strings and big band horns.
