Chandler Centennial Murals

Artist: Annette Sexton-Ruiz

This mural was removed due to the Dr. A.J. Chandler Park renovations.

Six ceramic tile murals were installed at Chandler Park in 2011 to celebrate Chandler’s 100-year anniversary. Created with the help of Chandler High School students through artist-led workshops, the murals highlighted the city’s history, desert landscape, agriculture, and modern life. Designed to be durable and interactive, the murals invited visitors of all ages to explore and enjoy them.
