Best Selfie Spots in Downtown Chandler

Category: Features

National Selfie Day is June 21 and we feel it’s only fitting to brag about the best selfie spots in Downtown Chandler. Now, there are endless opportunities, but these are the ones you really don’t want to miss.

Breezeway Mural
Created by artists Cam DeCaussin and Joey Salmon, this mural titled “Monuments to Us” showcases Chandler’s roots, iconic contemporary buildings and Chandler’s future as a technology and innovation hub. Find it right across from Chop Shop Chandler in the breezeway.

Commonwealth Ave Mural
This beautiful new mural was created by Chandler resident and artist Ariana Enriquez on Commonwealth Ave near the SRP Canal. The mural itself was a partnership between the DCCP, Crowne Plaza San Marcos Resort, Vision Gallery and SanTan Brewing. We love that there are so many places to take a selfie or group photo.

QuartHaus Mural
Father and son duo Champ and Such Styles worked with QuartHaus owner, Peter Sciacca, to create a one of kind graffiti-style mural along the building’s exterior wall on Washington Street. When you’re done taking a selfie, stop in for craft beer, on-tap wines and house made whiskey and vodka.

Ghett’ Yo’ Taco Mural
Created by renowned graffiti artist Lalo Cota—whose work can be seen throughout Roosevelt Row in Phoenix and other parts of the city—the Day of the Dead-inspired mural shows opposite sides of the faces of a sombrero-clad man and a woman with a bright red rose in her hair. Grab a selfie then head inside to try their incredible tacos, sliders, burritos and more.

Serrano’s Mexican Restaurant Mural
Champ and Such Styles strike again with this beautiful mural on the backside of Serrano’s depicting the three pillars of the business – faith, family and food. The mural was created in honor of Serrano’s 100th anniversary in Chandler.

San Marcos Fountain
Between the lush greenery and the way the sun shines off the water, these fountains were made for selfies. While you’re there, play some cornhole or Jenga in the courtyard and take advantage of summer room specials.

We’re not in Kanas anymore, Toto – Overstreet
Created by Kasten Art, the Overstreet Murals add a beautiful burst of colors to the brick walls. Together they spell out “We’re Not in Kansas Anymore, Toto” from the cult-classic “Wizard of Oz”.

Civic Market – Today is a good day
Spread a little love and light with this greenery wall. While you’re there, try out a freshly made salad, sandwich, wood-fired pizza and dessert. We suggest the Oktoberfest pizza and the panna cotta. Just try us.

Cee Cee the Ostrich at Sibley’s West: the Chandler and Arizona Gift Shop
Cee Cee the ostrich is a classic staple in Downtown Chandler’s history. She resides outside of Sibley’s West: The Chandler and Arizona Gift Shop and is always dressed to impress.

San Tan Mural
Created by @_suchstyles, this mural depicts all the wonderful things about Downtown Chandler.  When you’re done snapping a pic, pop into SanTan Brewery’s brand new tasting room on the other side of the wall. It will be opening on June 28, 2019.

Dr. AJ Chandler Park West
Who doesn’t want a selfie with our hipstoric Downtown sign? Located on the North West corner of Arizona Ave and Boston, this sign does change throughout the year to promote local events so it’s worth snapping a pic when the welcome banner is up.

Now it’s your turn! Tag us in your Downtown selfies using @downtownchandler and #downtownchandler.

Thank you to our friends, including the ladies from SOHO 63, for helping us with these selfies.
