Chandler Jazz Festival 

It's back!  Every April, Downtown Chandler hosts the annual Chandler Jazz Festival in celebration of Jazz Appreciation Month.  This event showcases local musicians across a range of genres including blues, smooth jazz, and fusion rhythm.  On Friday, April 1 and Saturday, April 2 the show starts at 5:00 P.M. but festivalgoers are encouraged to come early, gates open at 4:00 P.M. for families to spread out, enjoy the local food offerings, and cocktails.  Don't forget your blankets and lawn chairs, this free family-friendly event is an all night affair and sure to be an enjoyable evening for all.  

The festival will kick off with Sugar Thieves on the main stage on Friday, followed by The Tommy Grills Band, Sir Harrison Band, and Dennis Jones.  On Saturday, you will see The Mike Ozuna Band, Jazz con Alma with Beth Lederman, Roxy Coss, and Josiel Perez's MambAZ Orchestra.  The fun doesn't stop at the main stage, Jazz will be flowing from restaurants, bars, and shops around town all weekend.  Both nights you will see merchant bands from 9:00 P.M. - 12:00 A.M. and on Saturday sidewalk bands will be out from 2:00 P.M. - 4:30 P.M. at d'Vine Gourmet, Saba's Western Wear, Crust Simply Italian, and Dr. A.J. Chandler Park West. There is even an after hours jam session on Friday hosted by The Tommy Grills Band at West Alley BBQ.  You won't want to miss that one!
