Downtown Chandler Brings Back Third Thursday Market Series Oct. 15
Eight themed markets invite the community to shop local, discover makers and experience Downtown Chandler throughout the season
CHANDLER, Ariz. — Downtown Chandler Community Partnership is excited to announce the return of its Third Thursday market series for the 2026-2027 season, giving residents and visitors eight opportunities to shop with local artists, makers and small businesses while experiencing a different theme each month.
The free markets will take place from 5-9 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month from October through May in Downtown Chandler. Each evening will feature a curated selection of local vendors alongside seasonal activities designed to give visitors a new reason to explore the downtown district throughout the season.
The series kicks off Thursday, Oct. 15, with a Fall Market featuring local vendors and special activities throughout the evening. At d’Vine Gourmet, 72 S. San Marcos Pl., guests can participate in Tatted Tapers from 5-8 p.m., a hands-on craft where attendees decorate tapered candles using Halloween-themed temporary tattoos.
Guests can also join a free FS8 workout from 6-6:50 p.m. on the lawn outside Crust Simply Italian. Registration is required for the workout.
Each month will bring a new theme, including Girls’ Night Out in November, a Holiday Market in December, Refresh & Restart in January, an Arizona Birthday and Western-themed market in February, First Day of Spring in March, an Earth Day and Vintage Market in April and a Next Chapter Book Market in May.
“The Third Thursday Market Series gives people a reason to come downtown, stay awhile and experience something different each month,” said Jess Walrath, CEO of Downtown Chandler Community Partnership. “It brings local makers and small businesses together with the restaurants, shops and gathering spaces that make Downtown Chandler a destination for the community.”
Attendees are encouraged to make an evening of their visit by shopping with local vendors, dining at Downtown Chandler restaurants, visiting local businesses and exploring the surrounding downtown district decorated with seasonal public art and festive photo opportunities.
