Downtown Chandler to Host Vintage Popup & Art Market

Curated Vintage Clothing, Vinyl Swap, Handmade Artwork, Tote Bag Activity and More at Upcoming Event

CHANDLER, Ariz. – On Thursday, April 16 from 6-9 p.m., Downtown Chandler Community Partnership will host its monthly Third Thursday art market, a walkable, free-to-attend and family-friendly event that uplifts Downtown Chandler businesses and local artists. Occurring close to Earth Day, this month’s Third Thursday will feature over 40 vendors offering handmade, vintage, thrifted, upcycled and sustainable apparel, alongside artists, makers and small businesses showcasing their products. Further encouraging attendees to indulge in their artistic side while practicing sustainability, guests can expect a paint-your-own tote bag craft, as well as a space for attendees to swap vinyl records and discover their next favorite artist.

The tote bag craft will be located at Downtown Chandler Community Partnership’s booth. The first 50 guests to visit the booth will receive a free tote bag to decorate, and all market attendees are encouraged to bring their own to paint with free supplies provided.

“This month’s Third Thursday market is a great opportunity to not just uplift Valley businesses and artists, but sustainably build your closet and keep high-quality clothing out of landfills,” said Maddi Miloscia, events manager at Downtown Chandler Community Partnership. “It is also our hope that through customizing a tote during our event, guests might feel more inspired and incentivized to bring it along for their next grocery run as a reusable shopping bag.”

DCCP will also host a raffle during the event – guests who purchase from participating Third Thursday vendors will receive a ticket, allowing them a chance to win a $100 gift card to a Downtown Chandler business of their choice. Raffle winners will be contacted via the phone number or email address they provide on the ticket, and do not need to be present for the duration of the event.

Additionally, this month’s Third Thursday vintage market will offer an eclectic aerialist performance by Sabrina Forbes, and vinyl D.J. Jules Quimby will mix R&B, funk, alternative and indie tracks.

Sponsors for the April 2026 Third Thursday event include the City of Chandler, Lifetime Home Remodeling, ShelfGenie and Travel & Leisure.

Third Thursday is a monthly celebration of creativity, culture and community in the heart of Downtown Chandler held from October through May. The evening event regularly features shopping opportunities from local artists, handmade crafts for guests of all ages, live musical performances, interactive exhibits, and pop-up experiences that transforms the area into a vibrant, walkable, accessible community art gallery of various mediums. The event gives a platform to established artists, as well as up-and-coming students to present their work and reach new audiences.
