Don’t have time to plan? We’re lending a helping hand by sharing the best ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day in Downtown Chandler. 

Date Night

Make reservations ahead of time so you can get into your favorite romantic spots like The Hidden House, Mingle + Graze (RSVP for their 5 course dinner), DC Steakhouse, Serrano’s Mexican Restaurant (check out their Valentine’s Day special), or Sasha’s Kitchen. 

Next, catch an unfiltered comedy show at improvMANIA for just $14 each. Tickets for the 9 p.m. show also get you into the 10 p.m. standup comedy show. When the show ends, head to one of the following bars/restaurants for live music and dancing:

  • Bourbon Jacks American Tavern – live music each night of the week, usually starting around 8 p.m.
  • West Alley BBQ Chandler – live music almost every night of the week starting at 6 p.m.
  • The Perch Pub & Brewery – live music on the rooftop patio Thursday – Saturday
  • The Local Chandler – live music Friday and Saturday nights starting at 9 p.m.

End your evening with a night cap at our resident speakeasy, The Ostrich, which is open until 2 a.m., or the Spirit House which is open until 1 a.m. on Friday nights. 

Galentine’s Day

Grab your girlfriends and get ready for a night of fun! Come early to catch a movie at FLIX Brewhouse. Choose a comedy like Jumanji: The Next Level, or an action film like The Gentleman. Happy hour is from 3-6 p.m. so you can start the party early.

When the show ends, it’s time do a little shopping at Sibley’s West: the Chandler & Arizona gift shop, Shoe Thrill and Blue Planet Outdoors. 

Next, head to dinner at The Perch Pub & Brewery, SanTan Brewing, The Brickyard Downtown, East Wind Sushi or Charm Thai. No matter the group, we have something for every taste palate here in Downtown Chandler.

Family-Friendly

If you’re spending Valentine’s Day with the whole family, then Downtown Chandler is the place to be. 

Burst of Butterflies offers canvas painting, mug painting, pottery and more, and you don’t need to register ahead of time. Simply drop in whenever you like and let the good times roll. When you’re done, enjoy a nice walk around town while shopping at Saba’s Western Wear and Cutting Edge Quilts.   

Hungry? Choose from a quick bite or formal sit down at Ghett ‘Yo’ Taco, Crust Restaurant, El Zocalo Mexican Grill, Craft 64, Truland Burgers & Greens, Cheba Hut, Pirate’s Fish & Chips (cash only), or Gadzooks Enchilada shop.

Don’t let the night end there though! Grab a coffee or tea at Peixoto Coffee or Civic Market, or sweet treat at Paletas Betty. 

Take an Elevator Home
